I heart faces: yellow

Every time I do a photo shoot of any kid for this couple/family, immediately you see the love oozing out of them. This day was no exception, as this is the day that they announced to their family and friends (through pictures) that they were expecting baby #2! It was so special for me to be a part of making the announcement happen!

That is me (Jenni of Rosie J. Photography)! I slipped someone my camera so that I could take a rare photo with the mommy-to-be! Just so happens that Candis has a very special place in my heart, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to sneak it on here!


The Tear-Jerker
Candis happens to have one amazing husband (did I mention he is the creator of my logo?). Little did she know that he had a surprise in the works for Candis. He wrote her a beautiful letter and had someone read it to her as her last gift. I am pretty sure there wasn't a dry eye in the building.

When Karla Met Jerry

I am joining a new Photo Friday contest this week (I know, it is Sunday, I am a little late, but better late than never right?)! I have been following Mandy's blog for a little while, via the Iheartfaces photo contests! I have also seen her work (and drooled) on the Pioneer Woman! So, thought I would have some fun with her movie week theme...and since I just did an engagement shoot and used a movie quote at the top of the post, I figured I would apply it to the picture!

As soon as I saw this weeks theme, I knew this was going to be the photo that I was going to enter! It is from Lola's tutu session that I cannot get enough of!

Lola, Tutu Session - Wigwam Resort

My little Lolita! As soon as she opened her box of goodness (her beautiful tutu) from Dear Lillie, she fell in love! She begged to put it on and was whirling and twirling in the house! I jumped at the opportunity to catch her in such a playful mood! We loaded up in the car, headed down the street to the Wigwam Resort (where I recently discovered this really awesome door just outside of the resort) and snapped away! I think that I was able to capture some really special moments of my precious daughter!

Now, since editing the pictures, I am having a hard time choosing which pictures to order. I see what clients go through when having to decide what to do!

I had so much fun with them on Saturday evening, and despite the crazy wind, their photos turned out amazing! This beautiful couple plans to tie the knot Vegas style in a little over a month! Congratulations Karla and Jerry!
